Sinful Colors Sinful Shine Alfresco & Ice Dream

Hey everyone.  I just wanted to give a quick review of these 2 colors.  They are absolutely gorgeous.

First is Ice Dream by Sinful Colors.  It is on all pf my fingers, but my ring finger.  It is a silver micros glitter with larger icy blue glitters in a clear base.  What you are seeing is 3 coats.  This levels out pretty nicely I would guess because of the clear base, I did however put top cot on anyway.
On my ring finger is Alfresco, part of the Sinful Shine collection.  This is 2 thin coats.  It went on like a dream and dried very shiny.  Again, though I put top coat on.

I hope you all enjoyed.  Have a great weekend.  =)

All products in this post were purchased by myself and the opinions are also that of myself.

Rainbow Skies

Hey everyone.. Wanted to share the mani that I had on for the weekend.. I apologize that I have used so many colors that I won't be able to list them for you. However the base coat is Sinful Colors Cinderella. I saw this mani done with a white background, but I thought blue would be better because ya know after all the rainbows do form in the sky.
I did the same on an accent nail with the base being black, It didn't turn out as I expected because I used Kleancolor's Chunky Holo Black over it and I forgot that it had a dark base so it kind of covered the rainbow. =(  Oh well, we live and learn =)
I also topped it off with a coat of Northern Lights.
I striped each color on individually with a stripe brush. This WAS tedious.

I believe you can see the pink shimmer in this photo.

Sinful Colors Cinderella is such a pretty blue, it is almost true to color in the pictures. It also has a gorgeous pink shimmer to it.   It is one of the prettiest blues out there.

For those of you who don't know// Kleancolor Chuncky Black Holo is a mix of small and large hex glitters, in a pretty dark base, like grayish color.  It's sheer but still dark. This is an awesome polish the way it gives you a holo rainbow in the sunlight. I didn't have much sunlight in this photo though.

Sinful Colors Opening Night & Nail Junkie.

Happy Thursday everyone.. I found some new Sinful Colors at Rite Aid the other day & I just needed to try it out.
This one is called Opening Night.  It is what I would call a Midnight Green.  It has a sort of blueish tone to it.  It is a very beautiful color.  Beware, this does stain skin slightly. As far as nails.. I am unsure. I will find out tomorrow when I remove it.
Anyway, this was pretty much opaque in 1 coat, but I used 2 for the pictures, this is also with NO top coat.
What a beauty, ehh?

For some extra added sparkle I added a gradient and accent of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie.  It has a blueish tinted base and is pack full of iridescent glitter. Another beauty.  2 coats on the ring finger for accent and just sponged gradient on the remainder of the digits.

I am not really a fan of green, but this is gorgeous.
Walgreens has a sale 2 for $3.00 and you can also pick up Silver Screen which was in my Challenge mani here.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great weekend.
I went polish shopping today and got some real beauties. I will have them for you in the oncoming days.  Check Instagram for the 'hail' photo.. =)

Kimber's Mish Mash Challenge - Week 2 - Taping

***Post is pic heavy ***
Hi everyone, as you know we are in the second week of Kimber's Mish Mash Challenge. This week is taping.  Here is a list of the weeks to come..

A lot of fun, so make sure that you stick around and check out all the awesome nail art from myself & all the other way more talented ladies in the challenge.

On to  my challenge mani.
I did a pink and silver sponged gradient. I randomly sponged the sliver over the pink.  The colors are both Sinful Colors, the pink is 24/7, a bright neon pink creme that dries to a matte finish like most other neons. The application was very nice and the color gives a loud pop. & the silver is from a new collection I found at Rite Aid.  Was it Opening Night?  I can't seem to remember, I was to in awe of of the new Sally Hansen Sugar coats that was right above the display.
Anyway, the name of the silver is Silver Screen. Silver Screen is not a silver, silver, it is kind of a blackened silver IMO anyway.  As usual, application was great. A wonderful metallic-y shimmer that my collection needed =)
I used my striping tape and randomly placed lines across my nails. I then topped it with LA Girls 3-D Effects in Black Illusion - A scattered holo.

Here is a few pictured of just 24/7 & Silver Screen before

This one has top coat.

Now, on to the pics with Black Illusion and the taping done..

Sunlight & some holo

Nice little rainbow there =)

So, that is my taping mani for the Mish Mash Challenge.  Please be sure to check everyone else's manis out as well..

Kimber's Mish Mash Challenge Week 1 - Purple

Good afternoon everyone.  Since starting this blog I had wanted to participate in a challenge but not a "You have to participate challenge" & not one that was every week, although Lord know I do my nails enough to be able to. Anyway, Kimber  from Kimber's Lacque Korner has some amazing challenges along with some other equally amazing ladies.
I will get right on to what I did, I hope you will check out the rest of the lovely ladies participating as well at the bottom of my post.  But first, if you'd like to follow what will be going on with this challeng, please check out the schedule below..

So now on to the challenge mani.
I did purple, on purple, on purple. =)
I used Sinful Colors - Lavander as my base color.  I then used a fan brush and applied one color at a time. I placed a small bit of each polish on a paper plate and just lightly put the tips of my fan brush into each color.  It only made sense to do all my nails with the first, & so on.  I also cleaned my brush in acetone every few strokes.
The first color was Pure Ice - No means No which is a dark purple metallic like with a bluish shift. I then went over it a second time with Color Club - Eternal Beauty. Color Club's beautiful holo purple. And then, as if the holo just wasn't enough I added a few strokes of Pure Ice - Cheatin to the mix.
The outcome is what you see below.

Tried getting direct sunlight, but it is mostly cloudy today.

The sun managed to peek out long enough.

Under florescent lighting

Please make sure to check everyone else's Challenge Manis out today as well.

Glittering Zebra

Hey everyone.. I hope you all had a great weekend.
The weekend was pretty blah for me as I had to work, that was until my husband called me yesterday at work & asked if I would like to go to Wilkes Barre to eat & for some nail polish.. I was like, 'YEA' we can definitely do that =D. {{Happy, Happy Dance }}  Anyway that post will be along a little later.

Right now I want to show you all the mani I had on and what it was inspired by.

I work at Micheal's the Arts & Crafts store.  I came upon this border tape while doing some price changes.
The inspiration is on the left & I did a test design on the right. I loved it to say the least.  I like the way this tape looks so much that it is my cell phones unlock screen wallpaper.

The actual design done.  This is Sinful Colors White on White. I used a Cheeky stamp with the Zebra Pattern & then what I did with black acrylic and a striping brush is made the stripes a little bit wider.  After the black was dry, I added a glitter acrylic, it had a white base so I could see what I was doing and where it was going, and then it dried clear.

The glitter acrylic was Fold Art Extreme Glitter in Hologram.  It changes from green to yellow to teal to blue. And like I said it dries clear and actually goes on kind of smooth.

All of the products used in this design were purchased by me.  Application of products were all A+. I will be trying this mani again in another color in the future.

Thank you all for reading =)  Have a great Monday.
